For whatever reason your disk is in dynamic mode and you’d like to change it to basic without formation, do the following:<\/p>\n

1. Get yourself a HEX editor, I recommend “HxD – Freeware Hex Editor and Disk Editor”<\/a>
\n2. Open HxD (Version 1.7.7.0), make sure you run it as an administrator
\n3. Extras –> Open Disk –> Select the Physical disk<\/strong> in question –> Untick “Open as Readonly”
\n4. This is what you should see at this point<\/p>\n
